I like the puzzle that Thomas presents me with. I like the way I wrangle and struggle with his poems, the way I have to unwrap them carefully to understand something of his vision. And I think it's worth the trouble, too, because his vision appeals to me - usually. He is worth the work. He's beautiful. Too bad he had to die. So it goes.
